This year at the annual tourism exhibition, ‘Fitur’, Motríl will share a whopping great 255 square metre stand with Granada’s Town Hall. As the Deputy Mayor in charge of Tourism, Francisco Villoslada commented, “It makes sense to share this opportunity with Granada, which already places a lot of emphasis on its tourist industry.”
Focusing on what makes Motíl stand out
Tourism Minister Villoslada also pointed out that their attendance at the exhibition was based on promoting those things that make the Costa Tropical different. There are very few places in the world that can boast the very appealing combination of beaches, fiestas, cuisine, climate and golf in one destination point. And to add to this list, the tourist department feels it’s the right move to position Motríl in accordance with its historical role as sugar industry leader, along the Granada coast. With this in mind, there will be tastings at the exhibition of locally representative products, including Motrilenean shrimps, cherry tomatoes, avocados, ‘torta real’ and of course their world famous pale rum.
