If it wasn’t enough to have the judicial system on the line with judges in Granada threatening to go on strike, it now seems that the public transport system will be seriously affected during February. The trade union CCOO (Conferación sindical de Comisiones Obreras) has supported the series of strikes planned by employees of Rober transport company, in search of a more stable workplace.
Minimum bus services in Granada
The strike will mean no services from this major bus company at all on Friday 30th January, filtering through to partial services between 6am and 11am on 2,4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18 and 20 February.
The town hall has kept out of the protest, claiming that it was an industrial matter between the company and its employees. All they’ve asked is that the parties involved keep the disruption to a minimum.
