Hola, my name is Mickey,
I was born in Germany but travelled alot, and spent the past 3 years living in Australia. At the moment visiting North Germany, with my dog "Fina", then goin to start a new life !again! in Spain. First stop will be Almunecar/Malaga.
Where ever we think `its the right spot, well try to start again.
Hopefully well find such a place!

hi , this is my first time at this so do not expect much.
I found the web site by mistake but have registered just to see how things go. I intend to purchase a house within the next 6 months and have looked at the La Rabita area , any one got any views on this area ? you no good, bad, buildings going up , land grab etc , etc.
My plan is to flt into Malaga then I can hire a car and travel along the road to the Granada area.
I have looked at at a few properties but only on the web I intend to come over from Bonnie Scotland within the next 2/3 months but I want to look at homes, can any one comment on the builders in the area and do you have names and reports on them ?

Welcome to the forum. I would not settle on any area until you get out here. You will quickly get a feel for an area or town when you are here.

Then once you have found the place to be, it should be fairly easy to find some other expats you can ask for builder advise on, and please DO! As there are MANY cowboys out here that do not know what they are doing!

thanks, yes I no about rouge builders i have lots of friend's in the building trade so I no a little bit and you can spot the ones that are up to no good a mile off.
I have looked on the web at a couple of homes and might pot over in October for a look , if you no of any good B&B; in the area do let me no
