They are both still very Spanish - although there are small expat communities in both. Recently Movizar has seen a lot of new villas being built around the town, and there has been rumors of corruption in the mayors office and some properties has been built illegally. Also apparently Molvizar has attracted a big Rumanian poplation of more than 1000 people.

We certainly won't be buying anything new anywhere in Spain.
We think a town house thats been there a hundred years is a much safer deal. Its very interesting to learn that there is a large population of Romanians living in Molvizar.
Most villages seem to have attracted a few but we have no problem with that.
Many thanks for the reply.

Hi, we have a 3 bedroomed townhouse in Molvizar, it is an old white walled spanish village with narrow streets and a lovely square. Our house is right on the edge of Molvizar as you drive into the village and the majority of the neighbours are older and very spanish, they speak little if no english. The romanians seem to occupy the top end of the village. There are lovely views from Molvizar taking in the mountains and the sea. Salobrena beach is about 15 minutes drive through the fields. I am going out there tomorrow, i havent been out there since last year and will be interested to see how far the motorway has progressed.

Our house is refurbished to high quality and is up for sale, it has 3 bedrooms and a jacuzzi on the roof terrace. if we dont sell we are looking to rent it out for a long term rental. not sure what you are looking for.

hi

not sure what you are looking to pay. i will take some photos over the weekend for you. it is on the market at 195000 euros but is probably over priced in the current market and needs reviewing, this is one of the things we want to do whilst out there. we would also be negotiable as there would be no fees.

regards

sarah
