Hi at the moment i live in england with my spanish husband and two children but in 2010 we are moving to La Gorgaracha which is in between velez and motril.My daughter will be 8 and weve been told she will prob have to go to school in velez because of where we live but i cant find out any thing about the school or how to contact it .also my son will be 16 .hes about to start his exams soon and is taking a vocational course in building services- engineering (btec) and will want to carry on at college in motril but once again i cant find out how to go about it .weve sooooo much to sort out and once the kids are sorted we can carry on with the thousands of other stuff weve got to do.i hope someone can help me.x

Well, I reccommend trying to enlist your daughter in Motril, as she will eventually have to go there past the age of fourteen as there are no schools for above this agegroup in Vlez. One of the schools where many of my friends went and enjoyed is Francisco Megias, which is also very accesible from the Gorgoracha. I don't know how good your children's levels of Spanish are, thus cannot make any ultimate recommendations about colleges as there are some options in Motril, but will require an advanced understanding of the language, and also I am unsure of what he would want/be able to study.
