Hi just loaded your software - simple.
Was able to create a link from one site - I tried two sites that use joomla and linx wont validate the links. No other sites will link (about 8 sites)

I turned on debug, and tried again, but I dont know where the debug info is found.

hi buddah,

The debug info is found as you try to add another link.

Enable debug and then try to submit a link to your site.

Then copy and paste the results here.

I see now what the problem is:

On this page:

http://spahimalaya.com/index.php?option=com_weblinks&catid=2&Itemid=99999999

You think there is a link to your site:

http://ayurvedahc.com

But there isn't. The link that EVENTUALLY takes you to your page - actually links to: http://spahimalaya.com/index.php?option=com_weblinks&task=view&catid=2&id=1

Try to mouse over it and see in the status bar.

This is because com_weblinks does not make REAL liks, and one of the main reasons I developed LinX to begin with. Ask the owner of http://spahimalaya.com to change their linking software to LinX or similar as they are currently only linking to them selves (as far as Google is concerned) and no one will want to exchange links with them.

1 suggestion - if the links can recognize weblinks (default Joomla) which turns out to be the issue with the sites I tried to link to

That would sort of defeat the purpose of LinX as you should NOT exchange links with someone who does not link to you. And that site does not link to you and you get no PR from it.

im not real technical, but when I go to that site and click on the link to our site, it opens a new browser with our homepage there - so they do link to our site. am I missing something about linking?

Sort of... you are correct that you are EVENTUALLY taken to your web site, BUT: They are linking to a page on their own web site that redirects you to your web site.

When Google sees this link it can only see that they are linking to their own page, and so... you do not get any "Google Page Rank" which this is all about!
