I get this error on both the front and back end.

Try to enable CURL and try again. If that does not work - then you are on a crap host and you should change.

My host is dreamhost.com and I actually think they are very good...

I tried it with curl enabled and I had the same problem. I can configure I lot of things on it, so what do I need to have enabled to have this work?

Thanks - replied - it should work with CURL enabled. Please try that again - and post the debug info.

Try to submit a link at http://lemonlawbystate.com/index.php?option=com_linx and you will see what i mean

EDIT:

Is this a logic problem in the code? is it using curl in both places?

Yeah - I have a sneaky supicion it has to do with cURL as well.

But if you still have this issue, then please try the following:

1) Change to fopen if you can (test and let me know if that helped)

2) Try to comment out line 40 in class.links.php so it looks like so:

i activated curl

and did the posted fix

i think it is working now.
